We design around the style and taste of each client listening carefully to thier event vision and combining our floral insight with their plans. This leads to the creation of an original collection of arrangments, bouquets, corsages and more that are unique to our client and blend well with the other elements of their event.

Each big day starts with a small meeting to discuss the details and get inspiration.  The fun unfolds as ideas turn to concepts which become proposals and eventually daring designs and classic compositions.

Hours for consultation are by appointement at our Kerrytown office 415 Detroit St. Across from Zingermans.  Please call or email us to check the availability of your date and schedule a consult.

Sweet Pea Floral Design is a floral design firm based in Ann Arbor Michigan.  Co. founders Melissa and Holly met while training as designers in the local floral scene.   We honestly thought it was a good job to help pay for college and never imagined falling in love with the trade like we have.

Sweet Pea  was inspired by a desperate need to play with flowers.  We missed the feeling of being surrounded by buckets of blooms and bunches in boxes. We each spent years in the floral industry before settling down to big girl desk jobs which provide a lovely 9-5 schedule but lack the outlet for creativity that we once loved.

Now we have sprouted our own grass roots design firm, and once again enjoy the thrill of wadding knee deep in blooms and bringing an artful eye to arranging
