About Us Shortly after getting engaged our search began to find the perfect wedding venue in the Northern California area. We visited several of the local venues, all of which were great places to get married; the problem was none of the venues could offer us everything we were looking for. We had our list of requirements for our perfect venue:

Northern California area
Outdoor venue
Reasonably priced
Somewhere that would be flexible with us regarding decorations
Somewhere that would allow us to use some of the hook-ups we had like: our caterer in the family, our super talented friend photographer, and our life of the party DJ friend
Somewhere unique and different from the venues that our friends and family got married
Somewhere that wouldn’t be sticklers if we partied a little hard and wanted to push back the time limits.

Ultimately we thought our list was fairly simple, and at the end of the day we were not going to settle on a venue that couldn’t offer us the chance to cross each of these requirements off our list. As you can imagine we were extremely surprised when many of the venues we visited handed us lists of their requirements for us – everything from caterers we had to use to the amount of time we had for the ceremony. Where-I-Do.com was created to offer unique, alternative wedding venues in Northern California for all couples.
