Theatre at the Old Grammar School
May 14, 2010 - Posted in: Venues Allied Arts Association operates the Theatre at the Old Grammar School which is available for use by a variety of performance and theater groups. The theater contains seating for approximately 100. A rear technical booth and two rooms accessible from backstage are available.For self-contained production companies, Allied Arts can supply local publicity and an on-site theater manager. For non-profit theater companies needing rehearsal time, Allied Arts participates in budget development, provides theater management, local publicity and may supply some portion of the funding required in advance of the performances. Allied Arts manages the sale of tickets for all events. The proportion of net profits retained by Allied Arts varies, depending on the type of production company and the level of ancillary support required. All engagements require board-approved, written contracts in advance of equipment delivery, rehearsals or performances.
