HISTORIC BUILDING RENTALS

We have dozens of historic buildings at the Park that can rented as the perfect complement for your special occasion.  From private functions, weddings,  to business retreats and family reunions our building rentals also come with "extras"; not available anywhere else!  When planning your next event,  make it memorable by including a unique setting and a spectacular view!   Whether you need a small intimate space or room for hundreds of guests, the Park has a place for your event.  

WEDDINGS / RECEPTIONS

You only get one opportunity to have a perfect celebration - wedding, reception or anniversary. That's why This Is The Place Heritage Park is the perfect venue to ensure that "perfect" event. Select the historic Pine Valley Chapel, the gorgeous Kimball Home or one of several other memorable buildings, add a magnificent view and a horse-drawn carriage ride to create a celebration that can't be duplicated anywhere else. Our Event Planners will help with every detail, from catering to decorations to florals, so you can concentrate on more important things.

FAMILY REUNIONS

Activities for young and old alike, catered meal or pot luck, a "headquarters" facility and a reasonable price - everything you need for a memorable family reunion is yours at historic This Is The Place Heritage Park. Rent a pioneer-era building where your family can gather throughout the day and enjoy lunch together. Younger members will enjoy the pony rides, Pioneer Playground, mini-train and "hands-on" crafts to make. At their leisure, parents and grandparents can explore the pioneer homes and shops in Heritage Village, and watch authentic trade and craft demonstrations. Three replica trains give everyone a relaxing and fun way to see the entire 450-acre Park and the same view of the Salt Lake Valley that Brigham Young saw when he declared, "This is the right place."  Sure, you can rent a building almost anywhere. But when you rent one of ours, we throw in the Park and 150 years of heritage as well. There simply is no better value or venue for your reunion than This Is The Place Heritage Park.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Have an unforgettable Birthday Party at the Park, for children ages 3-11 all year round! Choose from our Bronco Breakfast or our Pioneer Tea Parties! Birthday Bronco Breakfast: Your birthday party includes breakfast in a pioneer home with just your group. You, your family and friends will eat breakfast, take care of the animals, make candles, go on a train ride and take a horse drawn wagon ride!  Ages 6 - 11  Hours: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm  Cost: $20 per person (including adults) or $15 per person (including adults) with This Is The Place Membership (minimum of 10 people)  Birthday Pioneer Tea Party:Your birthday party includes lunch in a pioneer home with just your group. You, your family and friends will eat lunch, make candles, go on a train ride, dress as pioneers and dance, and take a horse drawn wagon ride! Ages 6 - 11  Hours: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm  Cost: $20 per person (including adults) or $15 per person (including adults) with This Is The Place Membership (minimum of 10 people
